Year 01: Last Day of current childcare

today was the last day of the current childcare that deng yun went to for the past 1 1/2 years. it was fun, but also time to move on...

we went over to my ex-colleague's home for CNY celebration. deng yun had fun playing with and also bullying my ex-colleague's daughter. this picture was before the bullying:

Year 01: Chinese New Year visitations!

we went all over Singapore for chinese new year visitations for these 3 days, starting from 14 feb 2010 to 16 feb 2010. here were the highlights:

we had a 36 mins video of deng yun looking into the video camera, laughing and playing by himself in his cot. due to the size of the video, i could not upload it here. too bad!

Year 01: Eve of Chinese New Year

on the eve of chinese new year, deng yun finally got better, with no sign of fever today! yeah! he even got to play with our calculator:

Year 01: More fever!

deng yun had fever in the morning. but in the afternoon, ting yee visited him at the centre because of chinese new year celebration:


deng yun had fever again in the evening and then ting yee had to get up in the middle of the night to attend to deng yun! poor mummy!

Year 01: Fever now! And then KKH!

deng yun had fever in the morning before going to the centre. then when deng yun came home in the evening, he had fever again. so we decided to bring him to our favourite hospital: KK Hospital!

Year 01: Sick again

ting yee was sick, but still brought deng yun to see doctor because he was coughing. the doctor suspected asthma. therefore, medicine was prescribed to deng yun.

Year 01: Highlights of the week towards the end of the month!

towards the end of the month, deng yun was able to say "a story a day" (the story book i had been reading him almost everyday), "home" and "see you" in his own cute way! actually, he could say almost anything you say to him now!

Year 01: Highlights of the week!

throughout this week, deng yun was able to say 1 to 20, as well as monday to sunday! and today, after his stylist outing in the afternoon:


deng yun burped and hiccup together for 3 times after he had his shower!

we decided to guide deng yun up the over-head bridge, carefully. look how he ran once he reached the top!

because both deng yun and i were getting bored with the old toys, i decided to let him rip open the christmas presents which we had not opened:

Year 01: Outing with Deng Yun's friend

we went out with ting yee's best friend's family, where deng yun met up again with her daughter. they were both sitting opposite each other, and they were making funny faces and laughing together!

Year 01: Deng Yun's new diet!

from the beginning of this year, we had been feeding deng yun a so-called balance diet with one serving of carbohydrates, one serving of meat, one serving of soya related food and two servings of veggies:


whatever they are, deng yun will eat them all up!
