Year 02: Bathing Saga!

while bathing deng yun, I was “teaching” some hokkien (non-vulgar) words to him. ting yee overheard the words and immediately came in and slapped me (not those painful ones, but more of a pat on the cheek, but it did make a sound).

I pretended to feel pain, and deng yun immediately shouted “mommy, why you hit daddy?” then said, “sorry daddy” (and patted my cheek gently) and HE started crying! I told him it was alright as mummy was playing with daddy.

then ting yee and i kissed and made up after that and deng yun laughed!

Year 02: East Coast Park Cycling

we went to east coast and i cycled with deng yun while ting yee waited at the bicycle station for her sister to come and have lunch. check out deng yun on the child seat:

we had lunch at the korean restaurant near polliwogs with Ken's family, where the two children played at the small playground there:

we went to watch the movie "Hop" at Nex. then in the evening, deng yun rode in his tricycle to NTUC with us!

Year 02: Three different clothes in a day (500th post!)

i didn't realise this before i created this post, but deng yun wore three different sets of clothes today! in the morning, when he was drawing:

Year 02: Sleeping without pacifier

finally, we decided not to let deng yun use the pacifier when he slept yesterday. and today, he started playing on his own, slowly creating his stories:

we attended yet again another baby fair at the Singapore Expo. this time, ting yee signed up for our 2nd child's stemcord "bank account", bought some clothes and baby diapers.

Year 02: Easter, Baby and Dinner with friends

yesterday, ting yee and deng yun went over to daryl's place to have dinner with them, bringing along with them the easter bag deng yun made at his childcare centre:


in the afternoon, we went to kiddy palace to buy a baby carrier for our 2nd child. at the same time, deng yun was practicing how to hold a baby:

Year 02: 2 Years and 10 months!

deng yun was 2 years and 10 months old today, and he was showing off how to play golf:

Year 02: Paying respects to Deng Yun's ancestors

in the morning, deng yun built a tall structure with his mega bloks:


then all of us, together with ying sin, went to the temple nearby our place to pay respects to ting yee's mother and her grandparents, and her great-grandparents.

we went to KK Hospital for ting yee's weekly injection. deng yun was having fun at the playground there, from sliding down:
