Year 00: Outing with KH's family

in the morning, we attended a fair with my mother at the foyer of my mother's flat in hougang. deng yun even met the minister of that district.

then in the afternoon, we went to Kiddy Palace and bought a "hammock" to put at ting yee's auntie's place:

after which, we had lunch with our friend KH and his family at the Sizzler in toa payoh. both babies were rather well-behaved while the adults were having lunch:

Year 00: 1st "Your Baby Can Read" Video Session

today, we started letting deng yun watch the first segment of the "Your Baby Can Read" video session. the program actually has 5 different segments, and here is the recommended "dosage" for babies:


then my mother came over and we all had dinner and took a trip to buy groceries.

Year 00: Alone with Deng Yun Part 2

in the afternoon, after ting yee left to do some work in her office, i was alone with deng yun. As usual, deng yun was throwing tantrums, hungry, poo-ed, pee-ed, the works! but at least this time, it was not as bad. i could actually handle it! yeah right! except for that stupid thunder that scared the wits out of deng yun!

Year 00: Outing with Deng Yun's potential schoolmate!

our family went out with ting yee's best friend and her baby daughter. check out the two babies side by side @ Swenson's!


because ting yee and her best friend were from the same primary school, we suggested that their offsprings will become schoolmates in 6 years time!

we even suggested to ting yee's best friend to let her daughter try out the swimming session @ Plaza Singapura. both mother and daughter loved it!

then we went to OG to buy deng yun's clothes for our aussie trip in January. this was what he looked like while trying on clothes in a departmental store:


but the highlight of today was during dinner, deng yun poo-ed and i had to change his diapers inside a toilet cubicle, on top of the ledge, above the toilet bowl! i could smell pee on the floor, and some idiot left cigarette ashes on the corners of the ledge!

Year 00: Sixth time swimming, and second haircut!

today, deng yun went for his 6th swimming session and had his 2nd haircut!

deng yun was 5 months old today! my mum came over to have dinner with us to unofficially celebrate. deng yun also thanked all his fans for the wonderful 5 months:

Year 00: Suntec happening

i brought deng yun to see ting yee at suntec city because she had to attend to her work there. once we were there, ting yee's colleagues were so excited to see deng yun that he was passed on from one colleague to another.

then we went to Carrefour and bought deng yun a toy that can be attached to his pram:


but because both of us were very tired, we went home instead of going to my mother's place. after all, my mother did come over yesterday and played with deng yun.

Year 00: Deng yun's physical and mental progress

before bringing him to the infant care in the morning, deng yun sat up on his rocker and looked cute by doing that!


then at night, (1) he pulled the musicial thingy on his rocker on his own several times:

Year 00: Visit from deng yun's grandmother

my mother came over to visit deng yun but he was crying a lot. then ting yee and i punched a hole in one of the nipples to experiment if deng yun could indeed take in more milk. apparently, he was not ready for it.

Year 00: The never-ending poo

surprisingly, when we went out to shop today, we did not buy anything for deng yun, but rather for ourselves. then, the usual thing happened: deng yun poo-ed on me, yet again... yes, i think poo-ing on me is a monthly thing... kind of like we are bonding!

then we headed to habourfront to have dinner with ting yee's sister before she headed off to USA for her holiday trip.
