Year 02: Go Go Bambini

ting yee and i brought deng yun to Go Go Bambini for the first time. it had been a long time since we brought deng yun to an indoor playground. he had a lot of fun there, from playing in the tunnels:


to stepping up to the next level:

and playing the piano with his feet:


everything was great, except that the workers there were unfriendly...

Year 02: Thomas Tracks expansion

i bought some ramp tracks thingy for deng yun's growing thomas and friends train tracks:

Year 02: Celebrated Deng Yun's auntie's birthday

we went to the same restaurant that we went for chinese new year's eve dinner, to celebrate ting yee's sister's birthday:

Year 02: Deng Yun finally knows how to keep his toys!

yes! after a stern "pack up your toys", deng yun finally packed up his toys! here's the video as proof:

Year 02: Visit to my auntie's place

i brought deng yun to visit my auntie for a lunch gathering with my other family members. deng yun was initially playing by himself:


then deng yun was playing with my cousin's sons when they arrived. however, because of age gap (the kids were between 10 to 14 years old), deng yun spent most of the time looking at what they were doing.

then during lunch, deng yun called out to me saying "daddy, daddy, look!", pointing towards the direction where the three kids were fighting! my cousin had to break them up.

prior to all these, when i was changing deng yun's diapers, i received a phone call from my friend KL, informing me that our uni friend Cheng had sadly passed away in a motorcycle accident yesterday.

so at night, after dropping deng yun off at ting yee's auntie's place, ting yee and i headed to pay our final respects to our departed friend.

Year 02: Ting Yee's CNY party

ting yee organised a Chinese New Year party at home, inviting most of her friends, their spouses and offsprings (those who could come). deng yun, who was the only toddler boy amongst the toddler girls, played happily with them:

Year 02: Slapped Deng Yun!

we went to square 2 for dinner and deng yun sat next to two "fake-grass" bunnies:


and then on the way back home in the taxi, i slapped deng yun for the first time today because he intentionally hurt ting yee. it was not a painful one, so don't worry!

also, he kept saying "hey" at the beginning of every sentence!

Year 02: Pushed Mummy in the wheelchair

because ting yee's movement was restricted due to her pregnancy condition, deng yun actually helped to push her wheelchair when we were at KK hospital.:


we were there for ting yee's bi-weekly injection.

Year 02: 4th day of Chinese New Year

deng yun and i went to marina bay sands with my parents and deng yun was running around there! check out his picture with singapore's city in the background:

Year 02: 3rd day of Chinese New Year

i was feeling better today, so i brought deng yun to lunch with my family and then went to airport to send my brother off back to australia. deng yun was running around and of course eating at terminal 3:

Year 02: 2nd day of Chinese New Year

because i was sick, my parents came over and took many cool pictures of deng yun:


then at night, deng yun was playing with his laptop:

Year 02: 1st day of Chinese New Year

on the first day of CNY, we went visiting at my family's place to receive ang bows for deng yun:


and later at night, i got fever. so only ting yee brought deng yun, along with ting yee's sister went over to ting yee's uncles and aunties place for dinner. when they came back, ting yee's sister actually bathe deng yun for the first time!

Year 02: Grandpa's 70th Birthday and Eve of Chinese New Year

deng yun and i attended a two-table family gathering for my dad's 70th birthday as well as chinese new year's eve dinner.

my father, mother, brother, 2 aunties, 1 uncle, 4 cousins, 2 cousins-in-law, 3 nephews, deng yun and i attended this function. ting yee could not attend because she was still not feeling well, no thanks to our 2nd baby inside her.

after that, we had some takeaway from the restaurant for ting yee and headed back to my place. there, deng yun gave his grandpa a birthday card:
