Year 02: Scolding from mummy

when we were starting to have dinner, deng yun threw tantrums and was scolded by ting yee. eventually, he cooled down because he was eating rice (one of his favourite food!):

Year 02: A day at the childcare centre

deng yun's childcare centre had an "open house" this late afternoon to tell us parents what the children do in the centre. deng yun's form teacher told us that they did various painting and arts and craft. here's a butterfly deng yun painted:

at night, ting yee made this for deng yun to eat:

Year 02: Outing at United Square

we set out to get a taxi and along the way, deng yun was carrying his own bag:


then we went to united square to have dinner and deng yun got to sit inside Thomas:

Year 02: First Lego Duplo toy

in the morning i finally decided to let deng yun play with a duplo toy set that was given to him on his 2nd birthday:


then we played the "Boots are made for walking":


before we went out, ting yee saw something red inside deng yun's left nostril. i thought it was just his mucus. when we got back from lunch, ting yee saw it again and determined to get it out. when she pulled it out, it was a red rubber band! GOOD GRIEF!! we can't never know when this happened! it could be today, yesterday, or who knows when!

Year 02: Outing at Nex and Smiley face drawing

today, we went to Nex at Serangoon Central for lunch, to borrow books at the library and let deng yun play at the playground located at the rooftop area. he had a "splashing" time:


then at night, while we were watching Megamind at home, deng yun draw a smiley face, his version:

Year 02:

while ting yee was sleeping with deng yun, he actually touched ting yee's stomach and said "hello, this is kor kor (brother)!". and he hugged us and said "awww! so sweet!"

Year 02: Friends at the centre

when i picked up deng yun from the childcare centre today, he held onto one of his friends' (queenie) hand and wanted to go back home with her! so cute!

"i suppose it is rather harmless now, but i don't encourage this kind of behaviour in the long run..." - TheAvt

Year 02: Deng Yun helped with laundry

deng yun helped me with the laundry this afternoon! he helped me take down our clothes and then put up his own clothes.
